WMS Orchestra Field Trip

 Tyler started the day with a little sparkle in his eye and a smile on his face.

This was the day they officially said goodbye to Coach Logan.  Tyler used his own money to buy candy bars and poster board to make him this card.

Tyler asked Graigry to ordain him because he realized that Graig will probably be on his mission when Tyler becomes a Priest and this would be his only chance.  Graig did a great job.

Divine Comedy

Graigry loves to take a date to a Divine Comedy show at BYU.  For this show, Jessica bought a block of tickets and so Graig and Sara Callor were joined by Andrew and Alexa, Jessica, Jennifer, Sara, Kayla, and Mitch.

Happy Birthday Tyler

Tyler decided on a "Minute to Win it" theme for his birthday party this year.

He made his own invitations and planned the games.

We decorated in a red, white, and blue theme which Graigry thought was especially appropriate because it also happened to be Super Tuesday.

Tyler choose 6 different games and the winners (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place) won "money" they could later spend at an auction for prizes.

 In this first game Tyler's friend Rhyne is knocking over water bottles using a ball that is hung from his head with a pair of pantyhose.

In this game, participants are picking up penne noodles with spaghetti noodles from the table and putting them into a bowl. 

 During this game Tyler's friends had to keep a balloon in the air for the longest time.

 This game involved putting Vaseline on your nose and then using it to transfer cotton balls from the table to a paper plate.

 During this game, participants had to move skittles from one end of the room to the other using only a straw.

 This game was trying to blow the biggest bubble.

In the end, Tyler said it was a fun party but it was over too quick.

Fencing

Creative dates take a lot of time and energy to plan and can be expensive unless you attend the Utah State Extension office date nights.  It was fun telling my teenagers we were going fencing on our date night.  Warren took a fencing class at BYU so I say he had the advantage...  The Extension office pairs up the activity with some marriage advice, this month's advice was on fighting fair.  I realized I am not very good at listening to and acknowledging Warren's point of view.
