Hands on Learning

Tyler's class got to go on a fun field trip today. He got pretty WET too! He went to an old friend of our family's house. He said he liked learning about Native Americans and plants the most. He got wet because he went boating. The first picture is of Tyler and his friend,Kaiden boating. The second picture is Zina Cox giving him a nice ride in the minature pony cart. The third picture is him on the rope swing! The fourth is him making a rock collection. He had a very fun time!!

A Royal Princess Event

To remind the Achievement day girl's of their "Royal Birth" their leaders had a Princess Party. As a surprise, the older girls came dressed as Disney Princess and talked about they had overcome hard times to become a princess. Melanie, who loves to dress up, loved every minute. Jessica, was beautiful as Snow White. She even let her leader put make-up on her. It was great to remember that as children of God we are all Royalty. After the program we had dinner and the girl's all decorated a crown.

"Z" is short, fat, and long- like a hot dog. He loves to dish out sloppy doggy kisses, so watch out!

Tyler's Back-to-School Party

Tyler wanted to make some new friends in his fifth grade class, so he invited over six kids to play laser tag and roast marshmallows for s'moresTy switched from Meadow to Sego Lily this year so he could be in an accelerated program. Before school started, he was nervous about not knowing any kids in his class. The party was a success- and he even invited a few girls! He loves his new teacher and is having a great time at school

Melanie got her ears Pierced!

Melanie got her ears pierced in July and looks beautiful. Then for her birthday one of her friends got her a jewelry making set and she has been busy. So here are some pictures of her favorites.

Graigry's a Teacher

On Sunday, August 31st, 2008 Graig was ordained a Teacher in the Aaronic Priesthood by his Dad. Bishop Beck, Grandpa Anderson, and Uncle David also stood in the ordination circle.
